Learn Something New Every Day...

Some of you may already know this, but I've been working on computers FOREVER and just figured it out about 6 months ago - so I figured I'd share because it's neat-o and a time saver for me. I'm assuming most of you are working on PC's, so I did this little demo on Eric's computer. 

Okay, did you know that it's possible to take your mouse, click on the corner of a web address, and drag it to your desktop? (scroll on down...)

Then it creates for you a nifty little icon of the webpage right there on your desktop - and you just double click it to visit the site. So theoretically, you could all do this right this very minute, and have a super easy way to check out the crazy Cameron's anytime you wanted! Hmmmm...

Go Ahead, Wipe the Drool Off Your Chin....

Oh, sorry - guess it's just me...THIS is the new camera I ordered this week so that Eric could give it to me for our anniversary. ( :) he he ) I am sooooooooo excited! My current camera has had a broken command dial for the last year and half, so I've been having to work around it. You can expect way too many pictures being posted by the end of the week. Actually, we FINALLY had our beautiful fence built this week (hooray!) - but I'm holding off for the new camera to post pictures of it. Sick, right??!

Oooooooh - Isn't She Cute!!!

These are a few of my faves so far from Arhmin and Steven's wedding...and to be completely honest, I know they're on the slideshow over there to your right, but I wanted to play around with the new frames and "look" for the blog, and haven't really shot much of anything since the wedding. Soooo, this is what you have to look at. :) I'm also proud of myself, I've learned how to alter the HTML code to make the pictures post larger! Yea me!

Ahhhh, The First Day of Summer Break...

I swear we don't have her in training to be the next Mud Wrestling Championess — this is just a day in the life of Megan. Although Alex played in the mud a little too, she is much to "neat" to really get into it, and she immediately cleaned herself off - so no picture. Hey, it could be worse...at least this one isn't my kid...

   

Braggin' to the Blog

Well, let me tell you. Megan, my little creative genius, has scored a perfect "6" on her TCAP Writing Assessment. She was the only one in her class to score a 6 - GO MEGAN!

Now on to creative genius #2 (or #1 if you're going by birth order...hum) - 

Check out this pencil drawing Alex did of Casey! Amazing!! And below that are some gorgeous tomatoes done in acrylic on canvas. Alex was in an advanced art class this year - isn't she just wonderful!!!

P.S. - Casey hasn't really done anything special this week except for all those hard hours put in developing cute faces. Oh look, here's one now!

That's your Hawaiian lesson for the day! Jeez, is there anything professor Google can't teach us? Megan went on a field trip to the museum today to visit the Monet to Dali exhibit, and then to the Farmer's Market where obviously pineapples were among the many wares available. Gotta love the end of the school year, nuthin' but field trips, movies, and dances.

Megan Rocks the School Dance

Really, this is how Megan came home from school. Stickers, beads, and glow stick necklaces...good times. Alex must have rocked it out too - 'cause this is how she's looked ever since she got home.

Meet Buzzy

As some of you already know, Buzzy is our deck pet. I finally got a picture of him today! Yea! He's on the job every single day, running off anything that wanders into his "air space". Buzzy provides us with a pest free sitting area - Thanks Buzzy!

After cake, Arhmin broke out the scissors and went to work on Alex. Then she gave Cole his FIRST HAIRCUT! Does it get any more exciting than that! He was so cool afterward, he had to wear shades.
