Awwwwww! Look at the little hummingbird that's trapped in my garage – I have no idea how to help him get out. He just keeps flying up and bumping into the ceiling like the wasps do. :( Poor guy! Anyone have any ideas? (and yes, the door is open!)

We just had the exact same thing happen about 2 weeks ago!!! I'm sure by now he is out of your garage {or dead one of exhaustion!} But what we did is turned out all the lights {the door was open and by now it was night} - he finally calmed down and was perched on the same wire as yours. Lonnie put on gloves and the poor joker actually let him pick him up - he did have a tight grip on the wire, but eventually let go - we took him outside, laid him on the mailbox {we thought we killed him} and all of a sudden that joker sprang back to life and flew away! It was crazy! And you know, his heart was racing wildly the entire time!!!
Yeah, once the sun went down they flew out with no problem. Weird!
